    Default Front Door Lock

    Hey everyone,

When I bought my slot machine the front door lock was removed. The rails that slide up/down to lock the door is still intact and I bought a little cabinet style lock that I thought might work but I'm having second thoughts with that idea now.

Can someone take a photo of the inside portion of their working lock mechanism, or have any clue on where to obtain a new one (Already e-mailed the folks at stealth with no luck.)

Are you able to provide the make/model of the machine? Each is different.

Thumbs up Re: Front Door Lock

Maybe someone with a Mizuho can help out here. I need a measurement from the base of the lock to the end which the key is inserted (see photo), and a picture of the dog (is that the right term?). There are many types, most mount with only two screws so hopefully we can find you this part easily enough.

Give me a day, I may have a match. Unfortunately, I have a night shift to work currently. I'll take a look when I get back.

I think I have a lock for you. The only difference I see is the shape of base under the trip dog, but I don't think it will be a problem. Maybe Ikaria can confirm the distance between the mounting holes, I have approximately 13/16" center to center.

If you PM me your address, I'll send it to you along with a key.

Mounting holes are right at 1-7/8" (approx 47mm). I'm guessing you meant 1-13/16"? Then that should be close enough.

It's on it's way to you. You'll need to find some small machine screws to fasten it in place.

Just got the lock today, Meathead - You are the MAN! Got it installed, just need to adjust the door so its not such a tight fit - so I will be widdling some wood down to inset the left side rail. I'll have some photos soon, maybe tonight.

The Hinges on MOST Pachislo's have "Adjustments" incorporated in them.

Take a look at your hinges and if you see a Bunch of screws in them they can be loosened to adjust the hinges. This will fix most alignment problems be it a tight side or a door that is Sagging or closing Too High.

Will keep you from removing WOOD.
