    Hi and to PachiTalk ! ! !

An E-6 Error on your Pachi is a "Prize" Error. Pushing the round White button on the Power Supply inside the Pachi (lower left) should clear it. If it does not then a "soft" reset may be required which would require a Door Key which you do not have.

All is not lost. Inside the Door on the opening side where the long metal vertical bar is that latches the Pachi shut you should see one or two sets of wires going to sensors that look like the ones in the Pic's below. With the Pachi powered up, pass a straight slot screwdriver tip through the opening of the sensor that does "NOT" have a Metal Tab in it from this long Bar. This would simulate you turning the door Key to the left and do a soft reset. If this does not work you will need a Full reset which will require a key for the key switch on the same power supply as the White round button.

Since no key (as you have stated) is available, the key switch can be replaced with a standard Toggle Switch. Once that is done here is a Link to the reset procedures

    Welcome,
Nice machine. I really like the graphics.
    2004 Sammy/Aristocrat Daruma Cat.
Sometimes you can coax the reset lock tumbler with another small key or screwdriver. If not as new in town wrote the toggle is the way to go.
Think of it like a light switch, just on/off. You will need to get the lock out. Inside there will be two wire. Solder these to the toggle and you will be able to do hard reset

Well I tried the screwdriver through the sensor and the white button, no luck on the soft reset( the green light about 3 inches above the sensor did go out when i ran the screwdriver tip through slot).
Where would I find a key to do this "full reset" on the power supply switch.
I am pretty sure that this key is a generic key, that is readily available on ebay or from someone on here ??
Thanks again to New in Town for the help so far.

    Made in 2004. Actually DARUMA-CAT

    DARUMA-CAT

Speed Racer and KYOJIN NO HOSHI 2 were made the same year.

The quickest Fix would be to replace the original key switch with a toggle switch or another Key switch. I you do not want to go that route and keep it original if there are any members out there who own one these three Pachi's and has a Decent Locksmith in town a duplicate key could be made.

I did that awhile back for a Member who needed a key for an IGT Pachi.

You will find that very easy to do, and I think a search will result in a few posts about replacement. I did one in about ten minutes. You just need a simple on/off switch the same diameter as the keyed switch. Remove the bezel or whatever it takes to pull out the switch (unplug the machine of course), Dremel the hole to the correct size if needed, and wire on the new switch.

Well in taking apart the power suppy to access the key part, I found the red plug (red/black wire) unplugged, I plugged it back in and started unit the E6 error is now gone,I can also push on the other button and move it up from 1,2,3,4,5,6 then back to 1(not sure what tat is maybe the skill level?).
Now on to the next problem, any tokens i put in they just drop right through to the front tray.
I just purchased 500 tokens online and I am waiting for their arrival and hopefully they will work.
I with one token in hand it is rather usless to test anything else right now.

Set the skill level to something, then with the door open, keep putting the same token through, catching it in the back each time till you get some credits, then play

1 Power off, turn odds key/switch 'on'
    2 Power on
3 set odds to whatever number you wish
4 hold down start lever on front of door for several seconds to 'set' the odds
5 with power on, turn odds key/switch 'off'

Thank you for the info, currently I do not have a key to change the odds.
I tried dropping the token through repeatedly and nothing.
I only have one screen on the front glass that is displaying any number the right side one (I can push on the inside of the door and change it to 1 to 6) see pic.
If i move the lever on the front the right side numbers goes to a zero"0".

I guess I really need a door and odds key prior to more toubleshooting
