Default Alright I finally did it, The NEW RARE Looney Tunes Makeover

Ok this is something I have been kickin around awhile and I wanted to see if I could actually pull it off. I am about 75% happy with how it turned out, figured out some things if I ever try this again. But overall everyone that has seen it likes it (or so they say to my face 8-) ).

First I started with this, a totally innocent 6 Monks machine:

    http://users.zoominternet.net/~lddrizzt/loon1.jpg

Gawd I hated all the pink and Japanese writing, didn't know what was going on half the time (not that this has changed any).

Many hours and lots of cussing later............

    http://users.zoominternet.net/~lddrizzt/loon3.jpg http://users.zoominternet.net/~lddrizzt/loon4.jpg http://users.zoominternet.net/~lddrizzt/loon5.jpg http://users.zoominternet.net/~lddrizzt/loon6.jpg

There you have it. The NEW RARE Looney Tunes Makeover!

Comments are welcome (but be nice, I am new at this :smt083 )

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

He was originally called "Rudolph" and but his name was later changed to "Gossamer".

DAMN! Very nice job! Now if you could only get it to play the Looney Tunes music! I am also curious why you are only 75% happy. What is it that you don't like about it. What would you do differently next time? How long did it take? If you are really that unhappy with it I will gladly take it off your hands

I would love to learn from your mistakes/successes!

    Seriously, very nice job! ~spooner

Being able to alter that sound mod is all we lack! Someone has got to figure this out. This machine is 99% perfect. 8-)

Wow! That's a great lookin' machine! It's definitely something that you should be proud to show in your home (or sell on Ebay?). omething GOOD and WHOLESOME about Looney Tunes to me. This new stuff doesn't cut it anymore....no Wile E....no Road Runner or Buggs.... *sigh*
If I had HALF the talent you guys do...I'd customize a machine for myself...dunno what THEME I'd aim for...Anyone done any family pic themes? You know...kid with finger up nose, that camping trip that ya took when the kids were still respectful.....? I'd love to see something like that work. :smt117

Love the theme and the way you laid it out! How did you come up with the blue color? It is the only thing that does not soot me PER SONLY. Does it look a little differently when the machine is on?I think a machine with more chrome and less colors of its own would look even better with the custom work. Sorry not to give it a 100% wow but rather a 95% GREAT!

Looks good. What kind of printer do you use? Where did you get your graphics? You use to be able to get stuff over at http://cartoonfiles.truhgoy.com/ but it requires a password now and I have tried to e-mail the guy several times and never heard anything back (even sent a paypal donation to see if that would wake him up).

Curious on the graphics that you did on the glass over the reels. I see that some of characters go over the clear spot in the middle and was wondering how you did that. Just cut around it or print the front on transparency and then have another piece of film behind.

On this machine are the reels backlit or front lit.
