    Default It's a ManCave!

Subtitled - Where the hell did Rusty go???

So there have been a few changes in our home and as such it was decided that we needed the interior upstairs office to be something other than the KeyChinko room. Thus the ManCave project was began!

We have a 3 car detatched garage that already had one area sectioned off for a work shop. I converted that area to a ManCave by building a dividing wall which created about 235sqft of area.

This has taken me about 3 to 4 weeks to complete by working on it after my real job and on weekends and around the other normally schedule programs. It is (or will be) fully insulated and Air conditioned with ceiling fan and can lights on a dimmer.

So.. what's going in the ManCave?

    1. 7 vintage Pachinko Machines
    2. 1973 Rock-Ola Jukebox
    3. 1974 Vendo Coke machine
    4. Classic Sports Arcade Hoops game
    5. TV with PS2 (Guitar Hero) and Cable connection
    6. Futon (for a more comfy 'doghouse')
    7. Microwave and Coffee machine
    8. Folding game/poker table
    9. Storage for 45 record collection
    10. Storage for board games and such

I'll be posting more photos after this weekend (11/03) and I get all the stuff in and situated.

You can see a more detailed story about the ManCave on my website at:

Yeah.. I did. The Pegasus 412 I had never did 'function' exactly right. I had to 'rig' a few of the 'win row' leds and none of the upper frame lights would flash like they were supposed to. The number above the reels were supposed to light up but never did. The music was more of just beeps and bops and irritating instead of pleasing.

I bought it for $35 and did a clean up and rigging and sold it for $75. I might venture into another Pachislo... but I think I'd probaby save for a true 'one arm bandit' type slot before another Pachislo.

A Man Cave is not a Man Cave until it has a poker table. On rare occasions, that may be substituted by a pool table.

    Nice room!!!

    As for the suggestions:

Poker table... I have a folding table in the works that I can pull out for those events.
Popcorn maker - substitute the Microwave
Beer Fridge - One selection of the coke machine will be for Beer.. ok.. maybe two.

As for the pole... well... let's just say I needed to leave room for the wife and I to dance together and we'll leave it at that. <grin>

Thanks for all the comments and kudos!
