    Default G2E Las Vegas

Any one going to the expo? I think Wells Gardner is giving away free badges/passes. Nov. 17th-19th. I'll be there on the 17th.

I went last year, but I don't think I'll be able to make it this time.

I'm not, but wish I was..

If you see Wynn, or any of the guys from Azure (25% owners of Wynn's in Vegas), can you ask them how far advanced their plans are to introduce PACHINKO into Vegas?

No, I don't know that they have *any* plans, but now that their in bed together, doesn't this just make sense??? The market is so stagnant, pachinko would be EXACTLY the filip the whole industry needs... and they'd have a significant leg-up on the competition before they even knew what hit them (Azure have machines ready to go)...

Would be fascinated to hear if they've even thought about it?

There is always another machine around the corner...

The G2E was real interesting. I played the American version of Rock you Queen by Aruze. It was fun and they even had a Freddie Mercury impersonator promoting it.
IGT had some new pachislos. Maybe for American casinos? I'm not sure I couldn't find anyone that could answer my questions and I was in a rush. It was a pachislo with a touch screen on top, no coin or token. It looked like the only way to play is by the card reader. Also the games had payouts of more the 15 credits, 3 sevens paid 500. The two themes on display were tri color and a Dracula a game. Some new table games, 2 hand blackjack. play 2 hands and you can swap cards between the 2 hands. Also, No Bust 21. If you break you can buy another card. The value of that card is deducted from your total, pretty clever.
I was pressed for time as Billy was with me and they wouldn't let him in the show. So I had to do 3 days in 3 hours. I hope to go again another year.
