    Cleaners:
    =======
    Mr. Cleen Magic Eraser, gentle at first, harder if needed.
    Novus Cleaner and Polisher, time consuming but works on most stains.
    Hot Dawn Soapy bath and scrub brush.
    Awesome Cleaner, water bath.
    Purple Power, spray on and sit 5 minutes, dish sponge or cotton cloth.
    Windex with cloth or paper towels.
    Formula 409.

    Stuff:
    ====
    000 and 0000 steel wool
    Paper Towels
    Cotton Clothes
    Dish sponge with green synthetic brillo

    Directions:
    ========
    After wash bath, rinse with H2O and dry completely. You may want to use a blow dryer on very light heat or cold air, using caution to not heat the plastic. All techniques end with polishing with Novus 2 or Gel Gloss.

    Add "Mean Green" to the list, its wonderful stuff. Greased Lightning works as well, but is hard on my hands. MG is pretty easy on the skin, but don't breath the mist of either spray, use outdoors or in well ventilated areas. MG is almost all citrus oil, the GL feels as if it is harsher chemicals. They both work well to cut grease and spray on, wait 5 mins and rinse off with hot water and pat dry, then let air dry and install. Rub on some Novus 2 or whatever to wax afterwards if you desire.

    Novus 2 isn't a wax and doesn't leave behind a film like a wax does. Its a very fine polishing compound.

    I'm no chemist so I'll just suggest the Morpholine in the product (see the MSDS) is what gives the product some shine and shellac to the finish when done. It doesn't seem there is wax proper in the product, but it does seem to leave a nice clean shine on just about anything it touches. You may be right, I do know I have used it as a 'waxing' product for a long time, however without Carnuba in the product I stopped using it a few years ago and enjoy other products like Car-nu-be instead for cleaning and waxing all at once. Thanks for keeping the record straight about no wax in #2.

    You're right, it does leave things with a clean shine but I always attributed that to the polishing and subsequent cleaning of the compound itself. It may have some of the same stuff as Novus 1 which leaves a shine behind.
