    Default EBAY: skytvspecials

    Hello @ all!

My name is Roger and I live in Switzerland. I am half Swiss/ half Japanese. I have visited my relatives in Japan a couple times and playing Pachinko was always a big pleasure to me. I have registered on this site a while ago and read a lot of post. Finally I decided to go for my own machine and bought this one on Ebay: Lupin by Heiwa
LUPIN spy pinball pachinko machine LED LCD tv screen - eBay.ch (endet 15.05.09 14:31:27 MESZ)
Reason for this purchase was the theme Lupin which I really like a lot and also the low shipping costs to Switzerland. If everything goes smooth the final price for this auction should be around 300$ which is worth a try...
I am aware that a cabinet is not included (I maybe will buy one once the machine is here an running) and that with only 50 balls playing is impossible. Even if I put in the few Pachinko Balls I have stolen in the parlors as lucky charm it wont be enough

I have read in an other thread that the experience with this seller which also seems to be known as 777heaven is mixed. Due to the big number of positive feedback I give it a try and will also inform you about my experiences.

I would really appreciate if you could give me some hints of what is needed to be able to enjoy playing whit this machine as I surely missed something.

    Thanks to all in advance.
    Roger

welcome to the site!! as the good Dr. said. you are gonna need a key if you wall mount the machine. and definitely gonna need more balls to go with the machine. 450 to 500 is a good amount to start with. i keep around 5000 in my machines.

Although i am in the U.K. where skytvspecials are based i have never had any problems with them' Steve and his Father Eddie have always been helpful with any problems i have had.
It's a shame that they seem to be wraping up shortly and as far as i know we have no other pachinko dealers in the U.K.

    Welcome to PachiTalk Roger!!

I have bought a few machines (both pachislos and pachinkos) from Skytvspecials / 777 heaven and have never had a problem with them, apart from a slightly delayed delivery by a couple of days and I got compensated by way of a few extra tokens, so I was very happy

    Congratulations on your first Pachi!!

Thanks for the warm welcome and the advises.
The Pachinko will be without key. As the back is open this should not be an issue right? Can I fix it also from the rear end if some balls get stuck between the glass and the nails? Are the keys sold on ebay fitting to all machines or do I need to look for a special one?
And no, I don't speak fluent japanese, should have learned that...

The front glass can be easily opened from the back...Most machines until a couple of years ago never came with keys, so its mostly not a problem..

Keys come up on ebay every once in a while and sometimes members here have extras to sell..plus there are lock mods that can be done etc etc.. Most pachinko keys will fit most recent machines!!

While nice to have and convenient, for now, unless you have it mounted in a cabinet or on the wall, its not something you need to worry about right this minute!!

Here's my first feedback for this seller.

    Auction, Service and Delivery:

Auction: Well described. I received what I expected from the description.

Service: I asked 2 questions and received an answer within 24h or less.

Shipping time: I paid on 16th via paypal. Pachinko arrived today the 22nd. I think for an international shipping (UK to Switzerland) that is very quick.

Packaging: In the auction it was mentioned that they spent 1000£ on a foam packaging system. In my opinion it was just delivered in a box with two small pieces of foam and warped into cellophan. But so far it looks like no dammage happened to the machine.

Thats it for the moment. After a closer look at the machine I will post some pictures, give some additional feedback and for sure ask some more question

I just bought a key from Rita at Blue Hotaru for $8. Send a PM to outdoorenth and she should be able to hook you up.

Thanks for the hint. Figured out how to open the machine from the back. Depending on how I will place it I will try to order a key.

I know. Usually pictures should be posted starting with the frontview...
But I only had the kids digicam and after 4 pictures the memory was full

But here are some pictures from the backside...

The machine is still at my fathers house as we have built there a simple cabinet. I am sure he is playing when I am not there

Does someone know where to adjust the volume at this machine?
    Thanks,
    Roger

nice first machine.i noticed recently that compirate was selling keys on the pachitalk auction.also,i would check ebay for more balls.also,i have noticed on mine, the volume is adjustable in 3 increments, loud, louder, and loudest.there is information here on pachitalk about installing L-pads to be able to adjust volume to your liking.
