Yeah the palot has $99 shipping which isn't outrageous. But the pachinkos ship for $165, which is bordering on one way coach seat on an airline. And I think double boxing is an additional $25 on top of that.

That is outrageous shipping costs when everyone else, including Canadian dealers are almost half that.

I figured out why his shipping rates are way up there. Hiro is including the nice black cabinets with his machines which require and over sized box with lots of extra packing material to keep them from getting damaged. This puts the box at almost double the standard size, and adds about an extra 25-30lbs to the shipping weight. Also, the cabinet is well worth the extra shipping he is charging.

14 Hours to go. 2 bids and still at $76.00. If it goes for under $200.00 thats Still a good Price. (with the cabinet thrown in).

    But winner Be Forewarned ! ! !

Sheeee takes A L L O T of Sphere's to Play. A Fever round can Pay out 2500 + Spheres and each spin of the Reels uses 15.

I put mine in a Cabinet with a 7000 sphere capacity on top (filled with 5000 sphere's) and a Daverob Dongle. Makes Playing her a breeze.

Pic 4 and 5 show where the odds reset key and button are located.

Pic 6 shows where the volume control is located on the upper PCB.

I was the first bidder on Kagetsu-Densetsu but someone outbid me the next day. Not sure if I will bid on it again. The way you are saying it is a ball hog is a concern. I don't have that many to dedicate to one machine.

The one I am really looking at is Maharajya.

Maharajya disco queen Pachinko machine from Japan - eBay (item 270391541263 end time May-20-09 16:58:03 PDT)

I saw the youtube vids and I love the music.

Not sure if that is a good price or not with $99 s/h.

Well it sure gets good reviews from members that have it..The music is supposed to Rock!!

I'm not sure many made it to the US...$300 doesn't sound too bad to me shipped, but what do I know, I'm just a nut!!

You can never have Enough Sphere's.

Remember That Machine comes inside a Case which is the reason for the extra cost of shipping.. Here are some Pic's of Cute Honey in one of His Cases.

You can see that there is no Sphere return door at the bottom to retrieve the spent Sphere's. You could always add a lower extension box to the bottom of the existing Cabinet to add this Feature. Also a short PCV pipe has to be fitted to the hole at the top down to the upper ball tray.

    Spoiler
He may be shipping these cases as well. I'm not sure what cases he still has. I think these are the best ones he has, and hopefully what he is shipping.

I got my maharaja back in the glory days. I think I paid under $150 shipped. Its a great game.not too loud, I found no need to instal volume controls. Lots of action and music. You can control camera angels during the fever. I liked it better then Julie and Star Wars. Its real easy to make cyclic too.

Hiro installed volume controls before I got it, but I removed them because there was no need. The sound actually improved when I removed them. This machine has some real nice sound, and I agree; it is more fun that Julie and Star Wars. I think I played Maharaja nonstop for five hours one day. I'm not sure about all of them, but mine is one of the max payout models. It fevers quite often...

My only complaint is that the motor that spins the mirror ball is a little noisy.

I am suffering withdrawal symtoms from my Maharaja at the moment,
as it is safely stored in my Office

I would deff recommend it as a 'must have' Pachinko to anyone who loves music!!

Can't remember what I paid for mine, obviously a lot more than they go for in the US, but worth every single penny...

He's not carrying those nice cabinets anymore - I'm purchasing his last one (a black lacquer). His friend made them, but materials cost has gone up, and thus our cost would have been too high (he didn't expect to sell any at the higher cost). Hiro is making his own now, which are similar but not as nice as the ones he used to carry.

If you like the video on the Palot, then you need to find a Kegatsu Gaiden
