Default Target Mudroom tables on closeout

My wife was at the Mason City, IA target on Sunday and the Mudroom Tables so many of us like to use for Pachislos stands were on closeout -- $50 a pop. All they had left were the light colored ones, and my wife didn't think I'd be happy with that, so she did't get any. She asked about them being on closeout and if they'd get more black ones and was told they were closing out that line for new product.

I've purchased 4 of these online so far and paid, with tax and shipping, about $105 each! I'd have bought all they had for the $50 price and just sold the extras for my cost plus shipping to the folks here.

If you have a Target nearby this is a pretty hot deal. We live over 150 miles roundtrip to that nearest Target in Mason City or I'd be over there even grabbing the light colored ones at this price.

Here's a pic of this nice stand:

Because many Targets were out of these tables and because there are no Targets anywhere remotely close to where I live, I bought my four online. Cost online is $79.95 plus tax and $21.00 shipping. Appx. $105.00 total. If I'd originally known I was going to buy four, I'd have called to see if the Mason City Target could get them in and would have saved the shipping on each one of them by going and picking 'em up.

But, I bought the tables one at a time as I added to my "addiction" that was really only supposed to be ONE machine to begin with. Haha!

Part or all of the price difference is that there is a Mudroom CABINET for $79.99, and a Mudroom END TABLE for $59.99. The cabinet is the taller, bigger one with room to place a drink beside you pachislo. The End Table is about the same footprint as a pachislo and is good for high density installations

VERY good point! I need the extra space on the cabinet for my drink! You gotta understand my machines are right next to the bar. :smt110

I have eight of the larger ones. I like the extra area on the sides and double doors for storage. You never know when some crappy dealer is going to send you a hopper without a cable for it and need to store it somewhere!

Glad I bought all mine when I did. I've got 3 of the big ones and 11 of the small ones. I just checked and there's not a single Target in Indianapolis that has any. I doesn't appear that they blew them out here. All the stores just have empty shelf space with the old prices posted there.

FYI, I leave the back off of one tabe in each cluster so I can put the outlet strip and all the excess wire inside.

There are 2 targets within 10 miles of my home (UTAH) and at both places they were still $79.00 and they only had the light colored ones.

Well, maybe the clerks were mistaken about them closing them out? Might just be closing them out at that local store? Heck, I don't know, but it did encourage me to buy another stand this evening from Target Online just in case they are going to be gone soon. It's worth it to me to get them even at the $105 price just to match things up for my machines.

Bought 5 of them now. Target has nearlyl $600 of my money just in stands/tables! And, I'm even thinking I should get one more just for safe keeping... OMG, How the hell did I get involved in this??? Sheesh.

Just think, when you started here that oh so short time ago, you only had a conti 4x you didn't know anything about and an expensive stand from a local furniture store...

I'm thinking all the pachilslo/pachinko dealers and Target should be paying this board kickbacks!

Sorry if I confused anyone. When I said they were not "blowing then out" at the Indy stores, I meant that they were not selling them cheap. They are definitely "closing them out." The clerk said they were discontinued. There would be no more. He was able to locate a couple in Lafayette, Fort Wayne, and Bloomington. All locations that are a hour or more drive from Indy. Certainly not worth the drive.

    Default pachislo stands

You comment about a $50.00 table at Target. I suggest you go to your local pet supply store that sells fish tanks and get a stand for something like a 50 gallon tank. They are the right color. have doors, and hold much more weight than you need. And the price is much lower than $50.00.

Well I went back to my target to see if they were going to have them on sale yet and they no longer have any of them. The Lady told me that they plan on getting more in about a month but who knows.

    dapperdan-

I used to be a store manager for Target. There is no way the lady would know if they are coming in in a month or so. If she had an LRT or PDT gun she could have scanned the shelf label and that would give you an onhand count and an intransit count (next truck coming in). Everything non perishable is automatic shipment, there is no "ordering" by management at Target. Best thing to due is find someone with an LRT or PDT and ask them to scan shelf label and ask them if it is a clearance price (it will say clearance in their gun, usually ends in .98 or .44) and if it is clearance, there is a 99% chance they will not get anymore in. Just an FYI.

My local Target in MN has the "mudroom" shelf marked, "Clearance".

I ordered mine online for $86 shipped. I received the ship notice yesterday.
