i have always just stuck mine in a bucket with really hot soapy water. Swish them around for a bit and then let them sit for a while. Water will turn black, so rinse them off after you pour out the dirty water.

I used the CLR before and liked the way it cleaned them, but be sure and rinse and rinse well. Maybe I just didn't rinse that well but those tokens never would speed load nearly as well after the CLR.

I use white vinegar & some salt. The salt acts as an abrasive. Swish them around a couple of minutes with a spoon. Remove any rinse in clear water, then dry. They look great.

Oh Hell, Poor about 7,500 tokens in the washer and throw in some tide, run on regaular wash cycle, than shovel them in the drayer , dry on light heet, don't touch them right away.

Also don't let your wife catch you doing this or you will be buying a new washer & Dryer, and mybe get to sleep in the same bed again with her.

On second thought DON'T DO IT THIS WAY,
Merry Christmas & a great New Year!

I tried your CLR method, lucky. Worked great, thanks! About 20 of the tokens had the coating worn thin and this made those bad ones worse -- just took those bad ones out of use for now.

After cleaning, I found that putting about 500 tokens at a time in a large towel, wrapping the towel around them like a bag, and shaking the hell out of them did a good job not only of drying them, but also shined 'em up, too.

you are better off not using the worn ones,

if i see one that doesn't look good i pull it out,

it could jam your feeder one day.

every time i play my pachinko machines i look for balls starting to rust, if i find any i pull them out.

Take a look at these *super* nice tokens. Edges are silver with brass hearts in the center! After cleaning they look just super!

I ordered 500 tokens and was shorted by about 40 on the order, btw, which I didn't think was right. They are going to send me the 40 (almost embarrassing to ask for them, but it is nearly a 10% error), but wonder how often one would get shorted on a token order??? If I were selling them, I'd be sure to send a few extras as good will.
