Smile Thunderbirds II Questions that are hopefully not too newbish

Just got my Thunderbirds II machine! My first (modern) pachinko. Thank you Pachi Talk! I have learned alot up here lately...

...and now I have a couple questions.

    First about Audio...

We all know that this 4 speaker beast is loud. I learned how to install my volume controls - but on Thunderbirds, its hard to access the wires and they group wires 4 together so its hard to tell which two you need to splice. Any ideas? You can easily unplug one set of the speakers. Is this advisable? Is there different audio coming out of each speaker set? I can get to the bottom speaker wires more easily (still not optimal) so should I just unplug the top speakers and add my pot. to the bottom set?

I also have some questions about the on screen display. There is some Japaneese text that is consistantly present on the screen. There is a "1" and a "2" and line or two following what I could only think is describing a setting or something. What is this? Am I doing something wrong? How can I get it off my screen? And are there other menus or settings specific to this machine that I would need/like to know about?

    Thanks for your Time!

    F.A.B!

First off, Welcome to PachiTalk Mr. Parker (cough, cough TY) and glad you're aboard.

Hopefully someone can help you out with your situation. Enjoy the Machine!

This is the Thunderbirds machine in the orange and blue Fuji 'Gear Shock' frame, right? If so then I'll take a look at my Pink Panther later on, and let you know where the volume controls need to be wired in.

The 1 and 2 messages are error messages, usually they come up when there's no balls in the top payout hopper on Fuji machines. If the payout hopper is full and the machine is paying out as normal when balls are placed into the start pocket, then upload a clear picture of the messages on the screen and I'll post a rough translation of what it says.

    Thanks daverob!

I did figure out the error messages. Turns out after all that was a rather newbish question, so that one is on me.

I look fwd to your PP pics. I figured out how to do the top speakers, but still trying to find my way with the bottom ones.

Let me know when/where to see those pics when available.

    Thanks again!
    Ty (cough cough...Parker Pachinko!)
