    Default Hi from New Member

Just wanted to say hello as I plan to get my 1st Pachinko soon

Looking through this site has been a great help

    but I wanted to ask

1 For a first machine would you get (a) Starwars (b) Julie or (c) Indy

    2 What is a battle counter ?

3 It it a good Idea to get a Volume Control ?

4 Last of all how many Balls can fit into a Machine as I notice most sellers give 500 but is this enough how many would you recomend

Thanks in advance for any advice

You are a member of a new nation, Pachination

The concept of PachiTalk was to bring together anyone and everyone who has a passion for these amazing Japanese creations. Once you stepped through the doors at PachiTalk.com, you become part of the Pachination.
You are no longer Japanese, American, English, Italian, German, etc. (If I missed you I am sorry). You are now considered a Pachinational, put that on an application! We are all one big entity amongst ourselves and our Pachis. Segregation is not our philosophy and the seperating of diffent cultures will not happen, we are one, under the Pachi Flag.

theme is important in game play, sothe choice is yours. all three are in the same frame so the look will be simular.

1,500 to 2,500 depends on you ball handling ablity

volumne control a must unless you be hard of hearing.

Jingles - Hi welcome aboard, where abouts in the UK are from?

All three are great machines, but the great thing with the three that you mention is that all three are interchangeable using the lumina frame. I have all three that you mention & I just change from one cell to another.

Volume control is a must though as these are very loud & you are going to need at least 1,000 balls - but probably better with around 1,500

    to PachiTalk jingles!!

The three Pachinkos you mention are all excellent, I have all three and it would be hard to choose one ahead of another.......
So I think you should go with something you like, are you a Star Wars Fan for example??

Battle Counters store Statistics regarding play that day and day before etc, like how many Fevers, Fever Chances, etc

This thread might help explain - although I think some Battle Counters are different to others:
    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/show...battle+counter

My own Battle Counter was supplied by a Member here and he will no doubt be able to answer your questions on them......

As already mentioned, you should be looking to obtain around 1,500 Pachinko Balls, especially for the Pachinkos like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Julie , as they are a bit greedy!!

    Thanks for all the Comments,

I live in Kent in the UK

Having looked a the Video's and Museum Again I am now down to

StarWars as I like the Theme and the whole look but also I like the Julie as before I got intrested in Pachinkos I was a big Pinball fan and Julie looks like a small version of a Pinball (by the way do the flippers work ?)

I note that says he Just just change from one cell to another but how easy its it to get hold of the Pachinko plus an extra Cell as I would expect a dealer would want to sell the whole machine not just a cell ?

Last of all is it worth getting a Cabnet made at the same time of getting the machine ?

yes the flippers on julie do work there is a pinball table under the screen that works and in chance mode and some reaches the chance button lights up and works the flippers machiens are sold in cabinets or on legs teh legs are teh more cruder of methods but make ball handeling more easy as you need acces to teh top hopper to feed it with balls during play and even more so during feever rounds

if you are looking for a deal on a starwars machien and an extra cell i can sort you out as with a cabinet or legs

It is quite easy to purchase a complete Machine and Cells that would go into it........

Star Wars, Julie Pinball and Indiana Jones are all in Lumina Cases, so it would be easy to buy one of these as a complete machine and one or more of the other machines that fit this case (there is a Thread somewhere with a huge list!!) Obviously it is cheaper to buy and ship a Cell - so there are some cost savings doing it this way....

This link shows you how easy it is to change a cell...

As you are in the UK, the Supplier of choice, would be pachinkosales.co.uk
who is in fact a Member here (drcrippen324)

I would suggest dropping him a PM with any queries as he is a mine of no obligation useful information and I can happily recommend him to you with no hesitation....

As for cabinets, thats a personal choice thing, I have one in a cabinet, the rest are on legs, it's really up to you which way to go, you could buy one ready made, or try making one yourself, there are lots of threads with info regarding this.....

Its nice to have another Englishman aboard. Which ever machine you get, you can never have enough balls. If you dont have volume controls fitted your neighbours will be really upset (unless you live on a farm in the middle of nowhere) and you may suffer from tinitus in later life, these machines are very loud in parlour format. The Doc's (drcrippen) a great guy to deal with in the UK and he has helped me on many occasions with machine problems. Hope to see you on the shout box in due course.
