Well, I designed all my cabinets to be wall mounted, but after getting Gary's Custom Fruit King floor standing cabinet, I have decided to add bases to all my custom cases to make them self standing floor units.

When I only had 3, wall space wasn't a problem, but with 7 there just isn't enough room, with the floor standing cases I won't have to worry about things on the walls that I can't move like light switches, outlets and windows getting in the way!

With this new set up, there is easy access to the back, which is especially good for the machines with older locks and the one without a lock, plus they're still pretty easy to move!

Table top! I just built one from Ken524's design, but I put it on the table instead of on the wall. I agree that it makes it easier to deal with those non-negotiable design elements like light switches and windows!

Wall mounted. Too cool. But, you do have to have space and a dedicated room.

Wall-mounted seems to have more authenticity.
I like mine mounted IN the wall, between the studs; sans case.

Oh this is a difficult Choice!!

I just prefer Pachinko full stop!!

I'm used to playing Table Top mostly, only one is in a wall mount Cabinet at the moment, but I envisage I will have to have Cabinets made eventually and these will most likely be wall mount too......

    but as for preference......

Well I like wall mount, but all of mine are table top. The wife said, "You aren't mounting all those on the wall!!" and the decision was made for me.

There's the missing 4th option for the poll: whatever keeps the spouse happy, so I can keep my machines.

I would love to wall mount my machines, but I am not good at screwing and I would miss the stud and I would have balls all over the floor. That would be a very bad nightmare!
