Onimusha has landed

I just recieved Onimusha 3 from aaapachislo. I haven't played it a lot yet, but it looks awesome.

19" LCD, Time-travel mutant martial arts theme.

This one's still #11 on the top 30 list from Japan.

Time to break into my new supply of volume controls from Autoslot.

I'll post a real review after I've had it a bit longer. Like any machine, this one has a "honeymoon" period. In about a month, we'll see if the coolness still holds.

That said, the graphics are awesome. The 1st BB yielded 687 coins! It has assistance to ensure that you win as much as it wants you to win. In my 1st BB, it play all 30 games and gave me the 3rd Jac game on the 30th game

The music is great. Volume controls make it very nice to play, but took away some of the intesisty that the machine at full volume had.

The light show in the bonus round is fantastic. I'll have to get it inot a bonus again and shoot some more video

P.S. According to the sticker inside the door, my new machine reaches it's 1st birthday on Wednesday (built 2005.03.08) I'll have to get it some cake and a candle
