    Default Vintage Sophia single shot

Found this vintage Sophia single shot in a cabinet for 30$. Looks salvageable to me but will definitely take some time. Very few pics until I pick it up.IMG_0573-1.jpgIMG_0575-1.jpgIMG_0582-1.jpgIMG_0585-1.jpgIMG_0587.jpg

Apparently this is an all-15 single shot. 4 cups, 1 tulip with a upper and lower entrance. I'm guessing it's a nishijin Sophia, as the only label I can read says Sophia. Machine works! Working on cleaning it for some photos. Background is faded and foxed a bit, will need restoring most likely. I'm sure it won't be hard, looks like solid geometric shapes. Metal is rusted, time for scotch brite and pb blaster. Lower tray has green oxidation. Getting the old coke trick if the scotch brite can't recover it. Photos after some cleaning and battery wiring.

Anyone know a good way to pull pins for cleaning and background recovery?

After further inspection, I've come to realize it's a 1969 Nishijin single shot recycler. Ordering new back graphic and reflector images as I write this post. Then just some paint and rusty metal cleaning. Anyone have an idea what one of these should run for decently (not perfectly) restored?

Well bummer. Was hoping I could restore it for a profit. I have enough nice shiny pins and was going to do new graphics and restore paint and metal. Was hoping for maybe 150$. Figured a single shot would be worth more, but it is the most common model I guess. Bummer...

You might be able to pull a 100 or more just might take a really long time to sell. But I'm kind of picky I don't pay over 40 for any machine.

if you can restore it nicely asking 150 is not out of line at all.. im not a fan of single shots.. i have a few and will always keep one cause ya have to have a single shot.. others love them and seek them out.. if ya can bring it back ya might even get more..

would love to see more pictures.. befor during and after..
