    Default Kanless motor issue

My pachinko has a small motor to move balls back in play. The motor works, but it seems weak. It can only move a couple of balls at a time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you removed the motor and checked if the ball lifting gear turns freely?

I have removed the motor. It seems to move freely. I can hold the hear with the motor on.

Electrolytic capacitor needs to be replaced cause after 30+ years they are pretty tired out ( that long grey cylinder by the motor)

That sounds like a good idea. Do you know the size? I do not want to guess. The old one is 3.3 uF.

I replaced the capacitor and used spade connectors. The result was the same. The motor could not move more than two balls at a time. Since I used spade connectors, i wanted to see what would happen without a capacitor. In that configuration, the motor worked fine. Is there a problem with just removing the capacitor?

Could you post a photo of that original long grey capacitor with the printed values on it please.

I am not sure how to post the video. For some reason the motor is working right now with the new capacitor. Do I need the capacitor?

The capacitor was put on by the manufacturer of the machine . Are you saying with the New Capacitor the motor is operating right ? Or Without the Capacitor it is working Better ? ( More Balls feeding to the front of the machine )

Most people put the video on YouTube and post the link here..there's no way to directly upload a video to PT..

My machine is working with the new capacitor. I think the motor is faster and stronger without the capacitor. What is the reason for the capacitor?

you can take risk of not having the capacitor and the motor might burn out or be ok I have Never owned a Pachinko machine with this feature .
