Well... since you asked I have to say this turkey was the best I've made in years!!!and as a bonus, it was beautiful. I can't say that I've ever had a beautiful turkey before, this could have been on the cover of a magazine. I cooked at home and sent everything up to the diner to eat there. When I finished the bread (which I did NOT burn ) I went to meet everyone and my husband had already carved it or I would have taken pictures.

It was delicious and moist...didn't even need gravy...but who can pass on gravy? No maple flavor whatsoever, just goodness. My gravy was a bit on the salty side, so I'm not sure if it was from the brine or if I just messed that up myself, but it was still good. I tried creamed onions for the first time, and the general consensus was it should be the last time.
