Default Won't Shoot - only gets clicking noise

I confess that I am a total newbie to pachinkos. (Woody is my first.) So if i am missing a step or two, please forgive me this time.

The unit arrived and appeared ok - no noticeable signs of any.damage, even the shipping box was pristine and didn't appear to have been dropped in transit.

After unpacking, I checked the chutes for obstructions, loaded the top hopper and the feed tray, freed up the ball stopper and then turned it on. The pachi lights up and goes into "attract mode" but it won't shoot. All I hear is what I believe is a solenoid "clicking" as I rotate the shooter knob.

All the fuses tested fine - and I've reset the machine and that didn't help. Neither did checking all cable connectors.

    Am I missing something?

are you sure that balls are in the shooter tray?

sounds like there may be an obstruction and the balls arent making their way to the shooter that shoots them onto the playfield

open glass door, in the bottom rt of the opening you'll see a small metal lever that allows the lower door to open, this swings out with the shooter tray attached, exposing the shooter mech. on the machine and the ball feed mech. on the back of the door. make sure everything is working and not jammed.

I had the same issue and I found a missing transformer screw in the ball shooter. There was only one to begin with so it worked out nicely. Thanks Samurai Slot

I was pleasantly surprised to find my transformer securely screwed down to the frame. In fact, the machine was actually in pretty good shape.

Turns out that birdbrain nailed the problem down for me.

Hey! That did it! I'm not sure what was jammed, but it seems to work fine now. Thank you.

Another ticket can now be closed - thanks again to the gang at Pachitalk.
