Default Questions for Restoring Model A Bowling

Hey Guys! New to the forum. I was just recently gifted a pachinko. As far as I can tell, its a Model A with a bowling theme. There's an adorable bowling alley with pins in the middle. I have three questions for you guys.

    1. I think a piece of my shooter mechanism is broken. As far as I know, when the player pulls back on the lever a piece of plastic is supposed to move with the shooting arm to advance another ball to be shot. I think on my machine this is completely broken. To me it looks like someone tried to do some DIY repairs and it didn't work. Any idea on where to get parts? Seems a lots of websites say to buy a spare parts machine. I'm really hoping to avoid doing that. Picture of my shooting arm attached:

    2. What type of bulbs go into this machine? Is it possible to put in LEDs?

    3. Are there any schematics for wiring my pachinko? I have lots of disconnected wires and lots of wires cut up and redone with electrical tape. I really feel like I should take the time to redo and resolder all of the wiring.

below are a few pics that show a shooter..

there is a wire that is attached to the shooter.. this wire swings the plastic arm that lifts a ball to the shooter..

your pic show the ball over flow wire is all bent up and looks like it might be hung up on the swing arm

as for light bulbs there the old school flashlight bulbs that screw in.. my local true value still sells them voltage will depend on what you use for a power source..

ill see if i can find a post with schematics in it

    and of course

Alrighty. I took off the ball overflow shoot and the wire to get a better look at the problem.

Based off of the photos you posted, it looks like my shooter arm is missing a metal wire to run from the shooter arm to the plastic piece to move it up and down (highlighted in red and red arrow). The highlighted green is showing a metal piece that lifts the loading arm up and down. Am I understanding this all correctly? The shooter arm is completely free and it not attached to anything in any way. This doesn't seem right to me.

The more and more I look at this part, I really get a hunch that its not original. It has different size screws and mismatched washer sizes.

Any suggestions? Should I just try to rig up a metal piece to run from the shooter arm to the plastic arm that controls the ball loader?

Here is what mine looks like.IMG_20151230_180715.jpgIMG_20151230_180727.jpg

I have made them for model B out of utility (hay) wire.

looks like it may have been broken at one time and screwed with a washer to fix it.. do the parts swing freely?? in your picture there stuck back.. the flipper swings them back and loads the next ball gravity swings them back down.. yours looks stuck in the up position..
