Sankyo "King Gorilla" pachinko Value question...

Hey all,

For some reason, I can't seem to find info on this machine anywhere...

I was at a garage sale and saw a Sankyo "King Gorilla" Pachinko machine (with a decent amount of balls and instructions) and it was in a 5 foot custom made oak cabinet.

The machine seemed to work fine, but was a bit smokey and dirty - nothing I couldn't fix.

They guy was asking $200 for it - He wouldn't sell it without the cabinet. He made it seem that even dropping to $175 was hard for him...

SO, besides the value of the cabinet - what would the rough value of this machine be? Also, I am assuming that it's mid-90's or earlier since there was no LCD screen - just an electric Gorilla in the center that spun and moved...

I would have paid $75 on the spot for the machine alone (not knowing the true value) but as mentioned above, that wasn't an option at this time.

I emailed him and told him that if it didn't sell, so email me.

value's in the eye of the beholder. Not sure what machine you mean, pics are your friend (no camera in your phone? )

Haha - yea, pics are DEFINITELY my friend, I usually take dozens - however, I was so bummed that he didn't give, I just stormed off...

Mabey THIS guy has some pics - I should PM him...

Hey guys,

Still working on the pics of this. This Sankyo machine has a big Gorilla in the center (closely resembles "Donkey Kong") and will move in and out to push the balls, and will also spin around during the fever sequences...

Perhaps that will help while i'm waiting on the pics...
