Star wars volume in U.K maplins

Hi all, want to lower the volume on my new star wars machine, what do i have to buy i would go to Maplins, would a preset potentiometer be o.k and what value ?

Use whatever ARBYCOFFEE uses in the Star Wars Pachinkos he sells..

Send Nik at just pachinkos a message, he supplied me with decent volume controls to tame my rather noisy popeye, he' uk based too.

Yes arby, got my 2 packs of 5 piece volume from them, and only took 6 days to ship to the uk!

Got 4 of the little buggers left (501) type , get my STAR WARS today going to use them on there, not sure how many speakers the starwars has , i think it is 4, i hope so!

I think the red is the possitive,That's good news greg, i will have two spare then for another machine! , for some reason i thought starwars had four speakers. anyway iam still waiting for the delivery van to turn up with my new Starwars it should be any minute now! i just hope it is as good as yours, they look great.

Got the machine at 5.00pm, and I spent most of the night getting the feet on, ready to use the machine, got to get a bit more timber, for the feet today. but did fire it up quickly last night and it looks fantastic, with the color and lights, i was very impressed. but as i knew, it would be far to loud, and iam going to install the volume controllers very soon. only thing is, i cannot find the front door key for the machine, and having problems contacting 777 heaven. i also spent a good part of the night cleaning the machine, but i must say its in excellent condition, and looks like new!

If its anything like the pachislos, just buy some resistors from maplin (uk based electronics place) they are uber cheap at like 12p or something silly!

I have 4 wired into my machines, you cant tweak the volume so much, but tbh I dont care, its at a sensible level now!


They are like fat white block things, if youre struggling let me know and ill take a pic and get the part no! I intend to write up a guide for UK guys at some point anyway
