Daido/Bisty "Fever Quest" Pachinko September 2002 LCD screen is fading away...
Hi, everyone. I've had this machine for a few years and I have been annoyed by this screen issue ever since I got it, because other than that, it is working like a dream! Anyway, the LCD screen is, well, faded. As you will hopefully see the colors are washed out and it's very difficult to see in even the least bit of light. I am reasonably technically savvy and reasonably fearless when it comes to trying to fix these things, but I don't even know where to start with this. Is it a physical issue? If so, is it the monitor itself or the card(s) that service it? Is it a programming issue (seems unlikely but what do I know?) Any help diagnosing this issue would be fantastic, and of course any suggestions for fixing it would be amazing! Sorry for the first picture being sideways. The 2nd picture is a closeup of the monitor in regular light, and the third picture is the monitor with all other lights off.
