Do you ever get noise out of the right speaker or just when you press a stop button?

Hmmm, maybe the noise is all coming from the bottom. kind of hard to test fully as that is one of my machines that is being used as part of my pachislo stand. see top pic here :

    http://www.videogameconnection.com/pachislo.htm

its the one on the bottom. The top one sold and my other has its reels out awaiting bulbs. Im betting your machine is probably fine. Mike : )

I have a L-pad on the lower speaker, so i turned it completely off and played it with only the upper speakers (1K resistor mods) have sound from both upper speakers when pushing each button...sorry.

Ok well, i moved a machine and opened mine up and turned down the bottom speaker. Yep sound from both upper speakers, but I would not have known if I didnt turn the bottom all the way down. the upper speakers are very quiet compared to the lower. Mike : )

Why do you have to get the plastic cover off as the speaker plugs right into the side....very easy to unplug. It must be an issue with these machines as I have a fire drift that the top right speaker was bad. I RMA'd it (the speaker) back to grandview. It didnt work when I plugged it into the left side either. While it sounds ok with it gone, it sounds even better when it is working. Mine was intermitten until it finally died.

Try flipping the speaker volume connector up and down a few times to see if you are just not making a good connection.

ive talked to rob at pachislousa and he told me he believed its a blown amp, i was trying to get the plastic cover off so that i could take only the circuit board to milt's and not have to cart the whole machine around.

...and so close you don't have to use USPS, FedEx, UPS or even the new one in the yellow truck, DHS... whatever.

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

Try your local auto parts store. I redid my Terminator with two from Autozone. Works great.
