    Default LCD brightness?

    Hey y'all,

So I recently acquired a CR Fever Egyptian. One thing really bugs me about this machine The brightness (or contrast?) of the LCD is off if you are looking at it directly, but if you look at it from a sharp downward or upward angle, it looks normal. Has anyone come across this problem? Is it the LCD's surface angle? Or is it an adjustment? Any help would be great. I've attached pics of 1) whole machine 2) LCD looking head-on and 3) LCD looking from below at an angle

    Thanks!

It's been a while since I've had one that vintage apart, but I seem to remember some adjustment, but I think it's on the lcd unit itself.

i think the older designed pachinkos were designed to be played sitting down and looking straight into the screen.

i've noticed this also on some of my pachislos, expecially the ones with the angled screen below the reels.

older lcf monitors or lcd tv's do the same thing

But looking straight into the screen is when it doesn't look right.
Compirate mentioned an adjustment. Where would that be located?

Really sorry but LCD screens are not something I know anything about

    LOL.

Actually... all of my machines old, new, whatever, no matter what... The higher your eyes are, the more washed out the screen looks. I have not seen any adjustment controls on any of the moderns I have seen

But they all look normal when looking at them dead on.
On this one, looking dead on is too bright and washed out. I have several moderns and none of them do this...

I admit it looks pretty washed out, but alas I don't know of any way to adjust it.

maybe Gibi-san will dig deep down and come up with something

it may be a faulty lcd screen, depending on the size you may be able to get a replacement

i know compirate replaced one on an older machine with one from a portable gamecube or ps2 fat lcd screen
