    Default Reward Hopper Mod?

    Hello,
I have my Star Wars & Lord of the Rings in Pachinko cabinets on the wall....They both have ball feeders on top, is there something I can use to build up the reward hopper on the machines so it reaches the top of the cabinet. When you look inside there is about an inch gap between the reward hopper and top of the cabinet. The refill works fine until they start to spill over inside the cabinet. I would like it, so when I fill up the reward hopper from the top, if it overflows, the balls would just push back up into the refill funnel. Then I could keep a ton of balls in the funnel for the fever rounds... Please let me know of any ideas of what I can use....Thanks

    Joe

    1) cardboard and tape it around the hopper

    2) build walls w/ wood around the hopper and attach the wood to the case

    3) get some plexiglass and cut it so size and then use something to attach it to the hopper.

some people use a toilet paper or paper towel cardboard roll cut and taped in.

some use a short piece of mounted pcv pipe.

Thanks all....I already have a 1 -1/4 piece of PVC going into the reward hopper.....I will try the cardboard to build up the reward hopper. Do you think balsa wood would break to easy? Even if i doubled it up?

Here are some pics, the first one is a TP roll in a 1 3/4"(I think) hole, and the second is 2" PVC fastened underneath the hole instead of in it. I did it that way for a few reasons, 1. I didn't have a bigger hole saw, 2. no glue or tape to hold it in, can take it off if I wanted, 3. I thought it would be fun to try.

Just remember to keep a gap, smaller than a ball, but big enough to open the machine, between the bottom of your tube and the top of the ball hopper.

Toilet paper roll and PVC pipe.

You can use a plastic bottle and cut it down to work
