I think you can still get 2,500 from Gaku for 100.00 including shipping.

    thats 4 cents each

For the record, those are my 11,500 tokens that are up for auction on ebay.

Yes, Gaku's would be cheaper and if someone prefers silver over gold and a variety of designs over a consistent design (not to mention, less than 11,500), then they'd be better off going with Gaku. I'm considering ordering "custom" tokens for my collection, but want to be able to move some of my existing stock first. If someone nearby wins that auction, they would have the option to pick them up and save whatever the "actual" shipping costs would have been to their address.

I'm also auctioning off many of the same machines that I initially attempted to auction off on pachitalk a few weeks ago, but I believe the local pickup only restriction may have prevented me from getting any bids.

Has anyone ordered custom tokens before? Did you go to the Hoffman Mint or somewhere else? Thanks for the info.

only thing i have to say is watch what material the tokens you order are made of you want a heavy weight alloy .allot of these minted coins especially the copper colored ones are a soft metal and light weight token which jams easily if you try to use them in a real Vegas slot or even some pachi slot with heavy duty hoppers . they also stain and accumulate oil and dirt from normal usage . I unloaded all mine for that reason .the old heavy pachi tokens seem to work best ......besides the mixed tokens are nice to look at while playing , I always find a new one i never noticed before while playing the machine .nobody really cares if you have them all matching any way they just want to play the game and don't take them home any way . although i would have all the same color it does look a bit shabby when you mix silver with gold or bronze colored tokens but then i prefer silver anyway .

I'm with you on that - I like keeping an eye out for the unique ones.

Funny I do the same I put cool ones in the ash trays, OK until the wife grabs them and uses them, Oh well I get to re-discover them all over.
I have a batch of the bi-color tokens, bronze center, silver outside. that I use in only one machine, I don't like to mix these in, for aesthetic reasons only. They play the same.
