Smile Any ideas on the reference for this center feature?

This is a vintage SANYO Comet II with an Asian lady with stubble on ther legs, holding a baby (again with stubble on his face) in a jar and swords.

Maybe it is a cartoon or something in Japan with guys pretending to be babies and women?

Nice looking Comet II, I have a comet II also, but it's not got this theme

    Now, is that a baby??

Not sure but I'm seeing it as 2 figures, the one above has a face and hands

the one below looks like a guy wearing sandals crouching down, he has stubble on his face and legs

Could just be my eyes playing tricks though

Hopefully someone out there may have seen this theme before and can give info

The woman at the top is an otafuku and the man at the bottom is a hyottoko.
These are masks usually worn in traditional Japanese kyogen dances.
