Yep, thanks but I already read the 4 post in the archives.
I was hoping for a litle more info than what is here now.
Maybe some of the old timers opinions & such.

Looks like JDS checked them out and gave them a thumbs down.
If any of us "old timers" had dealt with them we would have posted.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

Yep, JDS was down on them, Kingsmen26 touted their record & now 1 mod seems in the middle due to no dealings at all.
I need more man, much more! My kingdom for more!!!
    Heck, your kingdom for more.

Dude, why don't you go ahead and open your wallet and get one from them?

Then you can give us a firsthand report.

Theyve got some cool items Id like to bid.
Ill look into theyre feed backs & policies to decide but I trust the group here far more than I trust the feedbacks & theyre own claims.
Ill definately keep you informed if I work with them though.
Ill help someone avoid a pitfall anytime I can. Its kindof a karma thing...

Dude, I think both are top-notch machines! Still the favorite in my small collection is the KC, mostly because of the nudge reels, and the sound isn't bad at all. I recommend it.

As far as the Neo Planet, I wanted the 'older brother' to my Neo Magic, mainly because of the LCD overlay on both. The Planet has only been around a couple of weeks now and to be frank, I like it as well as the Magic. The music on the Planet when you hit a BB is fantastic, once you get past the Christmas song. Very 'out of this world' sound, soothing.

I'm having a very hard time rating my 5, soon to be 6 new machines. KC remains number one, but of the others, KOTBW, Neo Magic, Neo Planet and the ArraKing, I just don't know which would be second!

The ArraKing is the least played right now only because I have yet to install the volume controls I got from Milt.

Back to your question, if you can get either the King Camel or the Neo Planet, I'd say go for it! I don't think you'd be dissapointed in either.

But if you should happen to not like either, I'd be happy to take either or both off your hands.

I'm going to add a little bit to my post above about the King Camel.

The reels don't just 'nudge.' I should have said, "...because of the reel action."

When you think you've figured out what they might do on a specific 'warning' sound, it may do something entirely different! That makes it a very fun machine to play, at least to me.

    Exclamation Re: CanadaSlot

Looking over CanadaSlot, the things that stick out for me are:
    1. Ive never heard of 90% of the machines they sell. Keep in mind that I havent heard of 99.9% of the machines out there anyway. Most appear to be LEDs. Is that a sign of older technology? I dont know, Im asking!?
    2. Most of the sales seem to be 1 bidder auctions with sales averaging between $75 & $100. Alot of them are 3 package deals for $200 to $300. Does that say anything to anyone?
    3. Their shipping is $89.99. Ouch...
    4. They take no returns or exchanges. What you get is what you get. Get it?
I had to return a non functioning machine back to Curt at Texas Auctions. He was ready to do whatever it took to make it right. If he hadnt been, all the phone support in the world would still leave me responsible for fixing a machine that didnt work in the 1st place.
I feel like Id rather spend a little extra on a known quantity than take a chance on these guys. What do you think...

There, I knew you would figure it out. If it doesn't feel right then it isn't right, so move on and deal with someone who feels right.

    Duh, thanks!
I get to eat with sporks if I promise not to run with them!
I agree, the shipping charge & the return policy is outrageous in my opinion. But that in itself dosent mean they would screw you. Ive seen worse on ebay & even heard some on this site defend the type, saying they were probably abused as children, yada yada yada!
What about the other info? Point 1 & 2. Anybody have an opinion on anything other than my mental capabilities. Which I must admit are in short supply!

I am now a pachislo owner. Yesterday I received a DonDon King that I had purchased from Canadaslot. The machine arrived within a week and was packaged extremely well. When we unpacked it, we found an extremely clean and unmarked machine. When we turned the game on there was a problem with one of the wheels not turning. Not ever owning one of these before, we sent an email to Canadaslot. It turns out that one of the lights inside a reel had come loose. With a quick re-install of the light the machine runs perfectly. So far I have no complaints what-so-ever. Just my 2 cents. As always the buyer must make the final decision on who to buy from, but as it stands now, I will probably purchase from them again in the near future. Kingsmen26.

    Thanks for the input Kingsman26.
Im still not sure I want to deal with them but Im not counting them out either. I was really hoping to get some 1st hand info on them. Your experience is very helpful.
Im not hearing that theyve done anyone wrong. Its just that they are new & I want to be a pansy assed pain in the butt! So sue me!!! Ha Ha!

I am a Green-Carded Canadian, living in USA. Trust me when I say you want nothing to do with cross border shipping. I have received items and then three months later received a bill in the mail for 26% duty on the declared value of the item. So much for free trade eh ?

Its easy to get around that by declaring something for $1.00. Only to have it seized because a customs guy who does a reality check of box size to declared value. Or have a box arrive smashed - and have fedex gleefully refund you your $1.00

They don't allow local pickups either.....

I do however see great value in their service. If they put up their machines value priced and they don't sell at high $$. It drives the overall prices down across the board.

That's what I am talkin' bout ! Anything to keep the prices down !

BTW I bought the so called vintage "Computer Pachinko " from a Canadian firm and it came in with a lot of damage even tho they wood crated it. I got a fair deal in refunded money but I did get a knock on the door (mail) from customs with a small additional surprise bill. After my one experience I would not buy a Pachinko or Pachislo from Canada but smaller items may be ok?

I conceed the point of cross border buying. I live in Canada so the border thing was not an issue, but it is one of the reasons I did not buy from a US company. The less hassle the better. I guesss I'll have to buy from the south, ship to our operation in Montana, load it on one of our north bound trucks, courier it to BC.............

Sounds like several of us found the same answer, Dude.

I have bought items from tthe U.K. and Australia before, but it was music and no customs hassle.

Takes a while to get here though.

(Music? A guy with no hands buys MUSIC? I punch it in on the computer. Classical, Ragtime, old stuff, almost all piano. I played years ago and still love it. )
