Default Pachinko balls in the UK

    Hi all,

I have been looking to get some more pachinko balls but eBay prices here are three times those in the USA, and shipping from overseas is expensive.
So I have been looking into getting normal ball bearings without the stamped writing.
I can get 11mm chrome steel balls for about £47 delivered, for 500.
Any thoughts on whether this seems a sensible option, or alternative sources for blank or genuine pachinko balls?

    Thanks,
    Roger.

Did you buy regular ball bearings in the end?

I paid the shipping and bought "genuine" ex-parlour pachinko balls from the USA.
Turned out most of them were un-stamped ball bearings, so lesson learned there.

Just because they are un-stamped doesn't mean their not pachinko balls..

That is true, though most parlours use engraved balls as it is illegal to remove them from the parlour, so it helps to identify them.
But unmarked pachinko balls are simply chrome steel ball bearings, which can be bought for a much cheaper price.
So the lesson for me is, make sure the balls are engraved or don't waste my money.

I have purchased direct from a manufacturer and simply opted out of the engraving/stamping. Price was the same. Also no option for stamping the gold balls.
