Hey everyone. So i've been lurking around here for awhile and finally broke down and bought a freddy vs. jason pachinko as my first machine. Thanks to everyone else who'd asked about first machines because i've taken all of the advice haha. Well the machine should be here soon and you'll all be hearing alot more from me then.

Just got my Freddy Vs Jason!! It's fantastic, but i'm really glad i bought volume controls and put them in because when i first fired it up it was pretty loud. And considering i'm living in an apartment i somehow doubt my neighbors would appreciate the noise

These guy's aren't kidding. My house is an arcade, not the basement, but the house. I have over 50 arcade and pinball machines but I never liked slot machines and only had a passing interest in Pachinko from sort of knowing what it was. I was over at a fellow collectors house picking up a Missile Command and saw his Popeye pachislo and thought the border was animated in some way but had no idea it was interactive and had all that footage etc. Popeye isn't my favorite theme and I don't care for slot machines but I was ready to get it just because of the cool factor. I found out about the same chassis being used with different themes and settled on the golden Samurai which is similar to the Tekken or Soul Caliber games. Having that meant I would have made the lesser step to a Pachinko with a theme I like so then I had to go with the Star Wars. Then others, and most recently Galaxy Railways which is a great theme and so far a great Pachinko as well. Two years ago I didn't see myself being a Pachi collector as well, but here I am. I think your just getting started as well. It is also one of the best values in gaming. Your buying this thing for what 1/10 of it's cost and it is in nearly new shape in most cases? When you pay 4k for a new pinball you see where the money is and your happy with what you got, but you don't feel like it was a steal. But Pachis are like the clerk at walmart ringing up a new flatscreen for $150 every time.
