Appears the whole lower back cover is missing. And the lower ball track cover.

Yep , and you need that lower cover in the back for the machine to work.

The second machine I bought --before I ever heard of pachinko--had the back plastics missing. I didn't know the difference...

I made a cover out of shirt box cardboard, and the machine functions perfectly. I intend to fabricate a plastic cover when I dig out my band saw.

My point is it can probably be made functional with a little effort.

The front side looks pretty good!

The payout bell is really beat up.
