Default The game that started it all for me.

Little did I know when my parents got this for me back in '73 that this would begin my love of Pachinko.

Hell, at the age of 7 I didn't even know what Pachinko was, but I played the hell out of this game.

This game used coins instead of balls, the guides on the left was the "jackpot" and if you hit the jackpot pocket, you got the whole column. (a manual slot was on the case to feed the jackpot.

The center switch backs held the "dead coins" the dead coins were used to pay out the 2 to 1 and 4 to 1 payouts.

I tore that game up. Then, at 13 I discovered a "professional" Pachinko machine. The rest is history. But this baby kicked it off...

That is really cool. My childhood introduction to pachinko was a couple of Tomy Pocket games. I have, over the last year, collected a few of these to display in my game room.

Here is a link to the thread about them. I believe I have one or two since then.

    Cool,

Yep, I blew my share of allowance on Sony Pocket Games. I had the green Pachinko and the Tic-Tac-Toe one. I also liked their "race games" where you controlled magnetic cars around a track. One was horse race themed and the other was indy car themed.

I always wanted a Tomy Atomic Pinball game, but never got one.

I almost picked up an Atomic Pinball a couple of months back. Looked really cool.
