NewB just acquired a Alladin II that has code EE in LCD windows - Help

Just picked up an Alladin II machine that had probably been sitting for quite some time.

Plugged it in and had to flip a couple switches on the power supply on, once they were on the machine shows EE in the LCD's, music plays and lights flash.

There is a reset sequence on a sticker inside the machine, but it didn't seem to do anything.

I believe it said:
Turn off machine
Insert reset key and turn to right
turn on machine
wait for led's
push down on joystick
turn reset key back to left and remove

There is a toggle switch next to the reset switch, pushing it doesn't seem to do anything.

There's also a toggle switch on the power supply that doesn't seem to do anything either.

When going through the reset sequence, the LED's switch to 00 after pushing down on joystick, but once the reset key is turned back to the left EE comes back on in the LED's.

If I put a token in the slot, it just drops right back out.

Help, I have no idea where to start.

Sorry I'm not much help with pachislos, but one thing that does help is if you can post some pictures of your machine..A full picture of the front and inside and pics of any buttons, switches or screens that you think might be part of the problem..

We had an Aladdin II with the same EE error last year

I'll post pics of the inside as soon as I get a chance, will probably be Friday before I can get those.

I get the EE code on both sets of LED's when the unit is powered up.

Lights are flashing and music is playing.

Pic 2 - Reset switch and toggle switch that only toggles down.

Pic 4 - Reset instructions on label inside machine.

Pic 5 - What it looks like after following reset instructions but before turning key back to left.
Once key is turned back to left, the LED's go back to EE (Pic 1).

Neither of the toggle switches seem to have any impact regardless of when I toggle them.

Do you have tokens in the hopper for it to dispense as winnings?

Yes, there are tokens in the hopper.
Not sure how many, but I'd guess a couple hundred at least.

The hopper does not appear to be easily removable, or should I say I don't see any way to pull it out without taking something apart.

Is there a sensor on the hopper somewhere that could be causing what I'm seeing?
