Default E8- Error code on Fever Queen

    Hello All.

On a Fever Queen we always have an error code E8.

Does somebody has experience with this error?, would be great if somebody could help us out with this small problem.

The error code only comes on the display, as soon we power up the machine, after resetting with the reset-key the machine is ok.
But however, when the machine is powered off, and on again the problem returns, and have to reset the machine again.

Would be great if anyone could assist us on this, and thanks in advance.

Someone posted this here a while ago for Sankyo machines. Maybe it's a problem with the dongle? If so, an easy fix.

In either case, someone will have the right answer for you. Welcome!

Almost all of my games do the same thing. Once its powered off it loses it memory and needs to be reset. Some games after only being off a few hours (Metal Slug, MuMu and Giga fever) and others could be off months before it requires a reset. This has been talked about lots of times before and there is nothing really that could be done about it.

You could try reseating all your connections or cleaning the hopper, but,

It sounds like your capacitor is no longer holding a charge, so it loses its memory.

my Magic Pulsar always does that too every time I power it up.

I have read that before about the capacitor. My neo magic pulsar does the same thing after about a week of not being plugged in.

Has anyone tried to replace the capacitor?? or is this one of those parts that can not be found??
