Underrated Pachislos

Curious to hear which pachislo machines pachitalk.com members think may be underrated. Also curious why you think that machine just may be underrated.

We have two pachislo machines so far: King Camel and Zetz. Most everyone knows how well thought of King Camel is on pachitalk.com (and deservedly so I might add!). But to be perfectly honest, I enjoy Neo Pharaoh Zetz just as much as I do King Camel. Specifically, here are some of the things I like best about the "mighty Zetz":

1) I love the varied LCD images that are very frequently superimposed above the reels---these are various chance scenarios most often,

2) I also love the various humorous antics of the Egyptian boy, Zetz--- as he chases the antagonist mummy boy up, down, and all around the superimposed LCD screen,

3) I enjoy the accompanying sound effects and music that seem well-match or well-composed for the various corresponding visual effects. The fact that those well-matched sound effects are delivered through a rich-sounding amplifier circuit with four matched speakers makes it that much nicer, and finally,

4) I think the overall physical fit-and-finish of Zetz reflects quality. It somehow gives off a rich or "expensive" physical appearance .

So what other pachislo machine that is not often mentioned as being one of the "Big-Three" or perhaps "Big-Five" do you think just may be underrated and why?

That probably means Zetz is not one of your favorites. Which proves that beauty is in the eye of the beholder... or at least in the forefinger of the pachislo button presser.

yes, i had a neo planet and wasn't real fond of it. the worst part was the reel noise

Interesting thing about Neo Planet, Neo Magic Pulsar, and Neo Zetz... all three have that superimposed LCD display. Zetz is the most recent of the three Neo Vision machines, and even has more superimposed LCD activity. Yet, Zetz seems to be the least favored of those three models by many.

I played all three and liked Zetz the best. I do agree about the loud reels, though.

I like all of my machines for various reasons. Each one has something differnt to offer. But one of them I think is way under rated and that is Death Valley.Now I know it's not for everybody because of the theme but it really is a great machine. To me the theme of the machine is carried out better than most. The graphics,music,Led display all fit the theme of the machine to a T.
I have had more than one person tell me that playing this machine gives them the creeps. Or this machine is kind of scary.
Thats what a good machine should do,make you feel something and suck you in while you push those buttons.Death Valley does that and does it very well.
It's also a well built machine with cool backlit black reels and some thumping loud speakers.Game play keeps you guessing,Pays out more, not to stingy and incorperates eye shooting in the bonus games for more of a challenge. I have heard it's pretty rare and it might be I'm not really sure but there is not much talk on here about it, and they don't come up for sale much.
So do I think it's under rated? YEP, By a long shot!

I think Guts is under rated, it has a large video screen that at times superimposes the reels. It has a fun theme also. And it can be had cheap!

Banker 9 by Baltec is also one that slips under the rader. It has many different visuals on its dot matrix display. The draw mode is excellent, the game play is very very good,The reel lighting is great. and it has good payouts! The Volume contols are superb so no extra are needed. They dont cost very much on Ebay as I guess people arent familiar with them so dont bid very high. Im making a vid for this machine soon. have a couple of clips already shot.

I agree with Musky, Guts is a very good under rated machine. If it wasn't for Gaku's sale I would of never of tried it. Also Dance Nights is a very fun game with lots to keep you entertained.

I think New Sea Story is under rated here. It is a gorgeous looking machine. The LCD is nice and has lots going on. You get reaches just like pachinko. Very NICE pachislo.

Continental XXXX is very good, and can be had for a great price. It has "Super Rush" mode which is very similiar to a Spin Lucks wheel bonus, except you don't have a target amount. English speech telling you which reels to stop and it calls a color for the 3rd reel. This machine is very underrated imo. And can be had at a very good price.

The Conti 4x is one of my favorites to this day.

I was wondering about the XXXX I have the belly glass it is a B type?
I have the all Japanese YajiKita it has large well lit reels, a good theme and it is the machine that I learned to eye shoot on. the bonus round requires eye shooting one reel. The leds wrap around the entire cabinet and has a very good light show in the BB. see my review in the museum.

My vote is for Dragon Dice; this pachislo is way better than they say. No Really!

seemiata, I agree with the Zetz. I really enjoy mine and also like Firedrift It doesnt go for much moolah and is very "american themed" and fun. I know those are the only 2 I have but have played a dozen random others at local auctions and havent liked any others,but also never got fever on those machines.

I would have to say Tarot Master it is a machine that many do not have and that many people have not played, the sound effects are great and the bonus reel resembling Tarot cards is cool, plus the light show it produces on the right and left sides of the bonus reel are cool, I dont have my video of the machine up yet but should soon,but for those of you who may be curious I found a video of it in action in a parlor, I imagine this was some time ago because it is a retired machine, But again I feel it is under rated and I give it my 2 thumbs up
