Default Vintage on cl, working on making contact! What do you think???

Hello! I'm looking at this pachinko on Craigslist.

    http://chambana.craigslist.org/for/5284665214.html

ive asked for pictures of the back. I'll post if they send. I'm liking the starting price of 50.00. Leaves little to haggling lol. What do you all think? Looks interesting, their picture isn't good but the shooter lever looks odd to me

He sent pictures but someone coming to look at it so I may miss out on this one unless a 25.00 extra for delivery persuades him to do the deal. Looks like it's all there(minus the ashtray I didn't notice)

I asked about the possible missing ash tray and he sent me this picture. This looks like the fill hopper?

That is indeed a top hopper for the back. Looks like one from a Nishijin, but many companies apparently sourced parts from the same place. Not certain, but I think the machine is a Heiwa. What interests me is the circuit board just below where the hopper goes. Also in the upper right corner. Neither look like the electronics of that era. Could be something added...but a long white stick hanging down, with a wire coming from it, behind the back cover! I would go look at it JUST because of that. Electronics are uncommon on vintages. Nishijin made a special line of electronic add-ons to some mechanical machines, called them "special electric", if I am not mistaken. I thought $50 was a high start...but if the electronics are from the factory, it could be fairly rare...not to be mistaken by the word that is so flagrantly tossed about on eBay! Some laminate missing from the top front...but the electronics made me almost forgot about it!

Also the machine looks pretty complete besides the ashtray being gone.

Those electronics on the back were added by someone. Looks like a simple buzzer someone made. Two reasons why I say it isn't factory. A: factory electronics would be mounted better and have a cover of some sort. B: it has wire terminal posts on it. The factory would never use those, they soldered everything direct.

    100 machines and counting...

    +1 with Max.

There appears to be a small IC chip on the board. If the markings on top contain "555" then I would guess it flashes the lamp and runs a buzzer at the same time.

Thank you to all! I think I'm going to try to pick it up still but would prefer a cheaper price but I don't think I'd pass over a few bucks. It will look nice next to my other 3 :-)

Picked up the machine, working on getting it working (see saw linkage is dirty and sticking). Machine was filthy but is cleaning up well! Anyone have an ash tray ? :-)
