How do you clean the hopper

Hey,

Can anybody offer advice on how to clean the hooper. Coins are starting to get stuck?

I cleaned my ones by taking as much of the top of the hopper off so I could get to the disk at the bottom then I wiped everything with a cloth diped in methylated spirit to degrease it & clean the muck out. Then I polished it all with Pledge or Mr Sheen polish. Then I put It all back together I also cleaned the coin mech & the chrome slot in the same way as I was having trouble with coins sticking as they went in with one of my machines.

When we (Bally's) had hoppers we cleaned them with Simple Green and the green Scotch bright pads.

I also cleaned all my tokens by putting them through the dishwasher ( it took 2 nights)
