    Default First Pachinko Machine

Was out flea marketing today and found this machine (see pic). The kid was asking a meager $20 for it so I figured what the heck. I don't know a whole lot about these so I am looking for some guidance in getting it up and running. I do see where there has been a component removed from the upper right hand corner of the back (see pic). Was that the power supply? I have some knowledge when it comes to arcade type games, however, the majority of it is in arcade cabinets. Thanks in advance for any help and please let me know if more pics are needed.

Nice machine and great price!! The connector block is missing, but the machine will work fine without it. If you connect to a 9 volt battery, then you can just splice the appropriate wires together.

Thanks for the reply. That is crazy to me that it only takes 9v to power the machine. I am used to dealing with voltages with some bite. Grabbed a fresh battery and touched it to the wires and the pinkish red lights lit right up. I guess the next question is where is a good place to get some ball bearings (not sure of the technical term) since it didn't include any? Also how do I start the game? Like I said before I am a complete rookie at this.

You will need to get 500 pachinko balls in the machine for it to play correctly, but I personally like to run 1,000 in mine. The best place to buy them is on ebay. Search for "Pachinko Balls" and see if you can find them for .05 to .06 cents apiece after shipping.

Regarding the 9 volt battery, the only thing it powers are the 10 volt lights. Everything else is mechanical.

fill the back with balls... place a few handfull of balls in the front hopper and pull the shooter handle down and let the balls fly
