    Default Are people nuts?!?!

I can not believe someone would pay this for a 12 pack of pop (or soda, for those of you in different regions). What if you don't like it? http://cgi.ebay.com/12-pack-Dr-Peppe...QQcmdZViewItem
    and a few others.

    At least it's for charity.

The idea of a creme soda dr. pepper and berries sounds completely disgusting though.

Ummm yeah some people are nuts, I believe they would pay any amount because they like to bid. Kinda like a high for them. I really hope this person does give to the charity. Unfortunately there are way too many that say they are selling and proceeds go to charity and they lie. Hope this one is being truthful.

Either they are a collector or like the charity....
Back when Aliens toys came out in the late 80's Kenner did a marketing test in the Cincinatti area, The figures sold for about $5.00 each in the test market. Got them here to LA and sold them at comic shows for $20.00-$30.00 each (sold out 12 cases in less than an hour) , the next week they were selling for $50.00-$75.00 each other dealers actually flew from LA to Cincinatti to pick some up, 4 months later they were all over the country. Some people just have to be the first to have something, sometimes it works out and they get something rare, most of the time they just pay more.
