Default Noob - How many balls in your Pachinko?

Okay total noob here with his first post.

Looking to buy my first Pachinko, possibly Star Wars.

I have read the FAQ and it recommends 2000 balls, just was interested in the number of balls some of the more seasoned owners use?

    Thanks

I only use 20 balls in my Star Wars Pachinko but that's because I have bought a premier Star Wars from arbycoffee that features his "american cycling" where all balls are recycled back to the shooter area. Plus he adds a remote control where you can play it with no balls!!! But if you are going to take a chance and buy it from a different vendor then you more than likely will be getting the parlor ready model and you will need 2000 - 2500 balls.

Since this is quite an investment for most people = I would recommend taking a real close look at what arbycoffee can sell you one for (that's if he still has any).

First....Welcome to Pachitalk. We are happy to have you here. Second, balls needed, as many as the hopper will hold plus 500. Which is usually around 2000. Unless you modify the hopper.

I can get by with 1,000 a machine, but fever rounds really keep you going to keep up.

But, I can always grab a cupfull of 500 from another machine if need be

    Welcome to Pachitalk

On my Star Wars I started with a 1000 and realized that they were not enough. Bought 1000 more and things are so much easier.

You'll have to forgive me since I don't keep up with the technical end of things but what's "american cycling"?

Then I would guess we're only needing one then?

Well, if you need more balls than you can count you could try these!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/PACHINKO-BALLS-V...QQcmdZViewItem

That is if you can only count to 10 or so...

    I really liked that one

Anny way I learned the way to do a search here on pachitalk.com a long time ago... and here is one of the threads that arby names it :

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/show...light=american

And for those of you who don't want to read it here is his reference to it (quoted) :

    arbycoffee said :

How to change a Parlor Ready to a American Pinball Action™ (Cyclic Usage) for the latest Sankyo frame.

The search function here is a wonderful and powerful tool and I recommend it to all (even the seasoned veterans.... )

    Now back to my cycle
