Why can't I find any other New Gin vintage machines in a search on PachiTalk?

    Are they that rare?

This one has a hinged back mechanisim, have a Sanyo with a similar set up. Just wish Nishijin had used this technique instead of the staples...

Wow! Your restoration job looks GREAT!!

I also like the hinged back. Mizuho does the same. Not sure why Nishijin never adopted that idea. I'm sure it would have made clearing ball jams much easier.

Nice job on the restoration. Thanks for posting a picture of the ball loading system behind the front panel. Because it turns out that I have that same system in a box of parts that I bought with a bunch of machines. This tells me that I must have one in my pile. (I just need to find it )

Also I have seen some of your machines on ebay. I was wondering where you find some of those. Because some I would love to have and are a little tougher to find. (This machine is an example, but I want it unrestored).

    100 machines and counting...

I have that same model, though with a different cell and center feature. Mine used to be my Dad's and is the one that got me hooked on this hobby.

by the looks of the old man it looks like he ate one of the fish's friends and then discovered that it was a japanese blowfish.

That ball loading system can be found on other models such as Sankyo and Mizuho, FYI.
