    Default Ball cover

I am looking for a ball cover for a Daido machine. I am not sure of the year of it, as I am new to the Pachinko world. It appears this is the only thing missing from my machine. It is the ball cover that keeps the balls in a single stack when loading into the payout slots. I can post pictures if need be. if anyone can point me to where I may be able to get one, I'd appreciate it. Also if anyone has any knowledge of the machines, I can post pictures of what you would need to identify this machine for me, just ask for what you would need to be able to identify.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the pictures, it's a very cool machine, love the center feature (Bear Hunter?). It looks very clean.

I have never been up close and personal with a Daido, but the back feature sure looks like a Sankyo. You may want to talk to Pachinko Restorations about this part: lower track cover. You could also try to make your own out of heavy card stock and velcro, or heat and bend some Plexiglas.

There are many sticky's at the top of this page that can help you with your machine (dating, cleaning, etc.).

First, welcome to Pachitalk. Second, that is a cool looking machine. And lastly, to answer your question, one of our forum members runs a website and sells the track cover you are looking for. You will probably want to measure to make sure the generic cover will fit, but here is the link. http://www.pachinkorestorations.com/...11&category=12

I believe that Daido and Sankyo are the same company.

More like Daido, New Gin, and Mizuho. Sankyo really didn't share parts with many other companies.

Failing a new plastic cover, I found heavy laminated/coated cardboard works in a pinch. Currently works for my Mizuho as I finish the restoration.

Could it have been vice versa? My Dai Yamato pachislo is listed as both from Daido and Sankyo.

I'm not sure about modern times. They might have made that partnership in the 80's possibly. But they for sure weren't partnered in the 70's because they had 2 completely different styles of machines.

So you could be correct on that part. I'm not sure.

Found it. Sankyo acquired Daido in 1996.

Says it here on the Sankyo company history page.
