Modern Pachinko Id + Help adjusting the ball shooter

Hello!

I'm Linda and this is my first post. I've been reading and trying to learn a bit behind the scenes. You guys are great! Especially the grumpy ones!!!

I'm not sure if I should open a work order or if posting here is ok. I'm looking for someone-san that can help me identify my machine and it's value. I'm also looking for someone who can help me with the ball shooter/hammer adjustment. My balls only go as far as the first gate.

Here's what I've learned here so far: It's a Stellar case, the yellow painted hole on the back of the trigger/knob should house an adjustment screw for the hammer/shoote - right? I've tried adjusting this and nothing. If this is where I should be working, which direction should I turn? Sorry, that sounds stupid; however, I have tried adjusting the screw inside the yellow painted hole...Pachinko 3.jpg

Hopefully someone will be along that can help you with the machine you actually own!!

As for value...You may be able to sell it for $100-$150..maybe...but why would you ever want to do that??

Value is subjective. I've paid more for some than I should, less for others. But I love all my children the same!

I think that screw is more the sensitivity of the touch ring. The shooter adjustment is shown in the attached picture.

Looks to me like you got good advice from the usual suspect(s). I just learned something new myself with that depiction of the shooter adjustment...

Just make sure that once you get your machine working properly, that you don't abandon us. This board is a wealth of knowledge and entertainment.

My CR Kudo Monobatake (aka Fruit Farm) is up and running!!! Well... one side of the gameboard is getting action and I have come up with extra pieces. I used to think it was cool to finish with extra pieces... I'm grown now though.

We (hubby) tighten the hammer screw so tight it blew out the white washer that surrounded it (extra piece #1). So, it's tight right? Only the balls still barely cleared the gate. That's when I figured out how to get extra piece #2! I removed the gate - thin flexible metal at the top of the ramp.

Now the balls consistantly clear the ramp.

Bummer they only play left to center though. The right side of the gameboard gets no real action... I should stop here and be happy - right?

I have the same machine (pics in my albums). It's the only modern machine in the house because the volume adjustment goes so quiet. I love it! Congrats on getting it working!

Open the glass door in the front (latch in the back). Just above where it says 'Sammy' on the front, just inside the door frame should be a square metal button you push down to open the shooter tray. Behind this should be a slide switch - this is the volume control.
