Perhaps there's still a small niche for these. Just having an LCD screen (and even an expensive licensed theme) doesn't guarantee a hit, and I suspect that Newgin can use up some inventory here (just as the American pinball manufacturers used up stock at the end of the electromechanical era). And eventually, we get another cool toy!

And hundreds of parlors have either the CR or cash models as of 4/3/06:

So is it Google or Pachinko Museum that's stealing all the AOHELL data?

Though I have broadband, I maintain the lowest level AOL for travel/family email reasons, so I tried it.

    1) Google, when accessed from AOL, redirects to Google/AOL partner site http://www.google.com/aol/

    2) The language tools menu accessed from there is the regular Google translator-no problem getting to that; translating "AOL Sucks" to Japanese works fine (AOL は吸う). Translating "Your programmers are a bunch of idiots" also works fine (あなたのプログラマーは馬鹿の束である). Translating....oh, sorry.

    3) Accessing pachinkomuseum.com directly from AOL also works fine.

    4) Translating the page with Google gives that idiotic warning.

Conculsion: there's a bug in their new "anti-phish" feature.

Maybe you just accidentally got the People's Republic of China version of AOL/Google.

You might try running the IE browser (or for that matter any other browser) after connecting to AOL and using it. Let us know if you get a different result.
