    Default shipping pachinkos, sub-boxing

I thought I'd posted this, but couldn't find it.

my latest packaging intervention for vintages is to sub-box the trays that stick out. if it's easy, removing them is the safest, but if not, like on the nishijin A's, this is a good alternative, and I always seem to have small cardboard boxes around...

last shipment to MASS made it fine like this. for the daiichi, I took off all the plastic that stuck out and taped it in the bottom area for protection.

I think that I have almost beat the rough package handlers at their breakage game

I've gotten some Really crappy packaging when I was buying off of Ebay...one in particular was shoved into a mis-sized box with no protective padding...I'm still stunned it was received in one piece...

Nice job on packaging yours...more likely to be received damage-free.
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

ebb, your single shot nishijin A is boxed (with sub boxes, of course) and will go out fedex home delivery on tuesday. sorry for the delay, I was working in salinas until friday.

yes, I am hoping that this boxing technique will save all those plastic trays. my sister even boxed the one from hawaii this way, and it did great!

A BIG Thank You to Dr. FrankinPachi utmost respect

Yes it arrived safe and sound and it's a gorgeous machine!!
After a week of restoring not a total rip-down The machine plays great. It needed little. Glass and a track cover Will work on the lights but looks to be a easy get go.
My son and I play a game first to 5. we each get one shot at a time. You go again if you open the tulip.
The pace of the game is so different, it allows for good nature ribbing and added importance to each shot.

That is a nice looking playfied. I like the way the teal color blends into the plastic cover on the bottom left. Very nice machine.

wow! that looks great! I didn't realize it looked so good under all that dirty layers...

as nice as the one vintage was selling for over 1K...

the A's recirculate, so you don't have to schlep the balls back up so often. we think maybe they stopped doing this b/c they needed to keep count of the wins/losses, and b/c they wanted to wash the balls between players to prevent spread of germs...
