Default Vintage Sankyo with add on electric shooter

I think the machines with the added electric shooter are pretty cool. Here's one for local pick up in Kansas. Starting bid is $9.99. Not a bad deal at all if you don't end up in a bidding war.

im a little lost.. i have never seen on like this in person.. i'm hoping someone can shed some light on it..

if im looking at it right i see two transformers.. i don't see any plug.. it looks like the electro shooter is actually hooked up the the spring that would tention the shooter.. im not seeing exactly how it would be hooted to the shooter..

if it were on within driving distance i would be a player..

does any one have any incite?

The one transformer you see in the box is part of the induction motor.
The connection to the spring is to adjust how far it shoots. If you look at the nut on the pivot of the shooter, there's a lever facing down. I would guess the motor has a cog that trips that lever for shooting. Also note the switch over by the other transformer that I assume stops/starts the shooting motor as you twist the knob. The plug looks like it's tucked above the power transformer.

This is a very rare piece, worth the effort in my opinion.
