Reset key won't turn

Hello all. I'm brand new to the world of Pachislo. My wife and I recently acquired a Bellco Eldoura machine. I was enjoying it this afternoon when my machine gave me a Hopper Empty error message. I found this strange as I was in credit mode and the hopper is full. I am trying to reset my machine as per the instructions in the manual. The second step tells me to turn the "reset key" to the "on" position. Well, that key simply will not turn. Any ideas about what I should do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to learning a lot about these fun games.

Oh yeah, one more question. Does anybody know if this machine is even capable of being played in "Cash Mode?"

try turning your door key to the left for a soft reset

you can always replace the reset key with a on/off toggle switch

I tried the soft reset, no luck. Came up with the same error message. How easy is it to replace the key with a switch?

i have never swaped one out myself... but in reading the other posts about it it sure seems easy... on a rating of one to ten it sounds like a 2 or 3

Are you sure you have the correct key for that machine? It also sounds like it's a jammed coin in the hopper.See if there is a reset button to clear the hopper.You may have to take the hopper out and empty it to see if a coin is jammed in it.After putting it back in try the reset button to clear the error code.
