    Default Star wars Pachinko topper?

Just found this one on eBay as it claimed to be:
highly detailed R2 Unit 130mm high!!!,
Once part of a fully functioning Japanese (pinball) Pachinko machine,
    RARE!!!!!
Just wondered if it was authentic?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I really didn't want to start another one. I was just curious what people thought about using a statue as a topper for the star wars pachinko. It is 17" tall.

Thanks Sid and Dattia for your input. I found someone who is selling it for 30 plus shipping. Never had a star wars statue before. Then again I never had a pachinko before either. Lddrizzt inspired me to look after he picked up one for his sea dolphin game that looked pretty nice.

I also have a topper on my Star Wars, plus stuff on the wall behind it.

I like the R2D2 Lddrizzt. I have a question about the play of the game. I usually am adding balls to the top hopper refilling. If I have a pachinko topper how can I do this? What would happen if you didn't add balls to the top hopper?

It won't payout. and those little red and yellow lights in the upper corners will stay on.
Mine is cyclic, so it's a non issue with me. I hate feeding hoppers. All my machines have empty hoppers.

Next step is to get toppers for TopGun, Batman, and Spiderman.

Your imagination is your only limit as far as toppers go...that and size of course. One of my favorites was a toy Firetruck or Ambulance that was placed on top of a similarly themed machine. The toy was modified to be the top hopper. It was the perfect blend of form and functionality!

If you never keep balls in the top hopper it won't payout on anything.

but, when you do put balls in it will keep dumping them to the front tray until it catches up with what it owes you

Is there a way I can dampen the noise level of the balls when they go in through the top hopper. Can I add some type of foam where they land and then they can roll down? I was thinking of using a pvc plumbing L shape pipe so the balls would not bang on the top hopper at all.

Lddrizzt, do a search on F-14 tomcat and F14 tomcat on ebay. some good things that can be used as toppers for your topgun come up.

Dattia, do you have pictures of the fire engine converted to form as a topper?

thank you Dattia, that ambulance looks pretty ingenious. i like the idea that he incorporated it into the actual hopper for the balls.
