    Hi there

    Welcome to PachiTalk

'Sammy' is a manufacturer of pachinkos but I'm not sure what a 'Mod 2000' is, do you have a pic of the front so that we can try and identify the model for you??

Sounds like you may have hit a 'Fever Round' did you get hundreds of pachinko balls paying out?

If so, then perhaps the rear hopper has run out of balls or has run too low and that is giving the warnings??

Oops forgot to add my links

As you may be aware, these machines were generally made for the Japanese market and as such most machine specific literature tends to be written in Japanese, unless one of our members has managed to translate. ( need to know your model name to see if there is one for yours)

However, we do have some guides to general pachinko set up and gameplay

Here's are some links that you may find helpful:

Sounds like a ball jam to me, or a punk( if you fail to get a ball into the reward pocket during a jackpot it will do exactly what your talking about)which is common on the early moderns
Try turning it off and then back on, if it works fine again, then its probably just a punk or puncture ( I know the frame your talking about, it also used by Sankyo, it's the same 2000 model that Fever Girl,Fever Fighter, and a few others I have)

    PS: welcome to pachitalk!!!!

Looks like he's talking about an old ebay thread - which turned out to be a Sammy "Gao Gao Kids"... bought by what appears to be an inactive user.

The upper left lights usually mean STOP - balls empty or ball jam... or other error...

It really depends on the manufacturer... and I don't have a Sammy, but one thing you can sometimes count on is this:
Many importers/exporters painted the important stuff in the back of the units with yellow or white paint (or nail polish... actually seen pink nail polish on one once...).

So take a look at the back and see if you see anything that's been identified that way. They will probably be things like:
    1) Ball dump levers
    2) Front and back opening levers
    3) reset switch or switches
    4) error check switch
    5) power switch (if it has one, and doesn't just work when you plug it in)

You really need to get a pic of the thing, or find a pic online that matches the back of your unit to get specific instructions.

One thing about the rest switch... it usually works by holding it as you power the thing on. If you find a small switch and try this, be prepared for the machine to start pinging or blaring some sort of alarm for a minute. That's normal. You know you found the reset then, at least.

WARNING! I'd try and find a pic of the back or take one with a cell phone or whatever before you start poking around. Get some better guidance than what I just told you. You may do more damage than good.
    Woof!

We're you able to get it going again after turning it off then back on?
If not, is it still making an alarm?
