Default Is it OK to Reset my Pachinko?

    HI all,

Could someone please tell me if i can cause any problems with my Star Trek machine if i reset it? I think it has a fault in regards to paying out balls. eg. does not pay out at all. I have tried a few things and think reset might help. Machine is working except for payout.

    Thanks guys

You won't hurt it no - it's a standard parlour button for any electronic or other mash-ups an operator might hit, so push away.
There is always another machine around the corner...

have you tried doing a ball dump to make sure you don't have a jam in the payout tracks??

make sure you have something to catch the balls in

check the path from the hopper to the payout mech, and make sure that balls can get to the payout mech. You may have a JAM in the payout mech so take it out and look at it (after you dump all the balls)

Ok Here is the latest, I had the number 4 showing on the led display at the back of my star trek pachinko i pressed the reset and shortly after that the machine started to payout when i hit the start pocket. I noticed that the number 4 was gone and it showed a dash. When i went back to play the following day the number 4 was lit again and machine is not paying again. Any ideas what error code 4 is telling me?
